Teh Stream was created on April 9th, 2007.
APRIL '07
Prior to its creation, ShadowLeggy was already quite friendly with future friend Mjfan84. Although upon its opening, Teh Stream did not have all too many visitors. In fact, it was empty for days, save for Leggy. But after sending out a bulletin, as well as personally inviting acquaintances, Teh Stream community began to take form.
MAY '07
Teh Stream was originally given the title 'Resident Evil Musicals' to reflect Leggy's homepage. But the idea for 'Teh Stream' title was originally thought up by Leggy and Mj. "Noobs" would come on Teh Stream to talk, but would misspell 'the' as 'teh'; sometimes on purpose. It started out as a joke; Leggy and Mj making fun of the silly typo, but the more they made fun of the little word, the more appealing it began to sound. Not long after attendants began to arrive and friendships began to form, Teh Stream was adopted its now commonly known title.
During only its first week of being created, Leggy and her new, first Admin Mj met Zeroclassa and themoonpirate. They clicked very early on, and hastily formed a friendship. Within 2 weeks after that, the lot had met other familiar users; Leon14356, Ryman8989 and Vixlater. It was not only fun, but simple times for Teh Stream. Bonds were made, inside jokes arose, Admins were created, and things seemed good. But the good times seemed fleeting, as after a few weeks...
SPECIAL REPORT - MAY 25, '07
The 'Hacker Incident' began. One of the friendly regulars, Furbicanus (aka Furby) was unable to type in the chatroom. No one could figure out the problem. He was able to access and log in, but he claimed when he tried to type and enter, he was unable to. A few days after this claim, he sent emails to the Admins saying that he was being hacked by an unknown person. Not long afterwards, Furby's account began to leave strange messages to the Admins profiles. In a strange style of typing, it said: "Hahaha, i have hacked the furby and will destroy his friends!" This more or less had people spooked. Not only was a friend of theirs hacked, but one of them could possibly be next! Many 'meetings' were held in Teh Stream to discuss the matter. But...
It was soon realized that the hacker was actually logging into Teh Stream under Furby's name, and was watching what all were discussing! Not only that, but he had started to create impostor Admin usernames. For example, he created a 'Vixlater' account, but changed the 'L' into an uppercase 'i'. Shortly after, though, the Hacker appeared on his own original account called: 'DestroyFriends' otherwise known as 'DF'. Nothing like this had even been done before, and had people genuinely scared for their accounts. To firmly account for who was who, Leggy made all regulars who entered her Stream into a Mod, so that should an impostor of anyone show up, they could be banned outright. Zero was in charge of keeping aware on who was who; any funny business and they would be kicked immediately. Also, any unknown users were kicked for the time being. This came to be known as 'Teh Stream Lockdown '.
Leggy and Mj did a lot of behind-the-scenes investigation, while Zero held the front. Vix attempted to keep people calm and civil, while Rich did his best to comfort Furby. This continued on for a week, straight into June... and that's when the outrageous claims began.
JUNE '07
'Hacker Incident' continued:
The claims began to pile in... A few of the users began to insist upon things, such as the hacker being seen on National News, being someones neighbor, and one individual claiming to be able to use Army technology to hack into DF's computer and 'dispose' of him. Sounds rather silly, doesn't it? Vix was the first to finally step up and put people in their place. "Are you kidding me?" she boldly said. "That is bullshit and you know it." After hearing such outrageous claims, it was what Leggy, Mj, and possibly others had been wanting to say, but didn't want to offend those trying to help. Vix had really paved a way to thinking, and had discovered something that no one thought existed before: Vixlater had uncovered the first 'Asskissers'.
Leaving many of the brown-nosers red in the face, ironically enough this was when the Hacker Incident and Stream Lockdown had begun to finally cool down. As if by a miracle, Furby was able to use his account once more, as well as log into and type on Teh Stream. It seemed as though DF had either been scared off, or just plain bored to bother with the group anymore... As ultimately it seemed his original plan had somewhat worked... 'Destroy Friends'. With the true motives of some users exposed as being asskissers, Leggy and the Admins had become rather wary of those who they once considered friends... people who were only out to get recognition, a true Admins status or otherwise. So was DF's actions really so... bad?
Sadly enough, some users to this day hold a grudge about the 'Stream Lockdown'. As many people were made Moderators as simply a temporary precaution, some of them hold over the fact they were not included in 'Teh Stream Video' and feel they were ripped off in a sense. Childish thinking such as that though, should already be well known that Leggy and her friends do not tolerate that kind of selfishness.
JULY '07
With the Hacker Incident seemingly out of the way, things seemed like good ol' times again. The Admins knew for the most part who their true and honest friends were, not to mention new friends! This month had its share of tension. It namely took place outside of Teh Stream, though. Leggy was having problems with flamers, spammers and video thieves on her profile, and had rounded up her friends to help her ban the offenders. It may not of been the best course of action, but at the times, the haters and otherwise seemed overwhelming.
Late in July, JackPecker911 (Leggy's real-life boyfriend) opened his own YT account and was made into an Admin. Not long after his christening, Leggy had been in contact with a certain user for many weeks via YT email since mid June. She invited him to come to Teh Stream around the same time as Jack had joined, and immediately made him an Admin. This user was SuperVillian7; He and Jack quickly befriended one another and invented the 'noobsweep'.
AUGUST '07
Things had died down drama-wise. And in that happening, Furby was no longer the center of attention. So one day... he came onto Teh Stream, and told a story of how his father, and his girlfriends parents were killed in a car accident minutes ago.
At first, everyone was so shocked and upset, trying to comfort him. But things began to get suspicious very quickly. Furby had started to become sloppy... his friends tried to urge him to stay by his mother and girlfriends side, but he made up excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't go. He sure wasn't acting like a man who had just lost a father. Why would any normal person be talking in a YT chatroom after losing their father that very same day? A day later, his friend continued to insist he be with his mother... but then he claimed he couldn't, and that she was diagnosed with cancer, and was suddenly dying. Shocked as ever, rather then take Furby in and pity him, the continued to push him away and insist he stay by his family rather then a chatroom. So...
Something far more despicable then an asskisser was about to show it's true face. Coincidentally, DF (DestroyFriends) made a sudden and unexpected return. Now on an all-new account, he threatened that he would Hack Furby once again. Only this time, he was armed with stealing videos from Leggy and Rich. But Leggy had noticed something strange about the matter, and took it up with Mj, who actually had shared similar feelings and uncertainties. It seemed rather odd how of all people, Furby was targeted. Furby was a generally unknown user, save for his small group of friends on Teh Stream. And DF didn't seem to want anything other then to ruin Furby's friendship with said people. A strange reason to 'hack' someone indeed.
The girls had a theory. It was bold... but things were getting to a point where almost anything was possible. DF and Furby had a unique way of talking. Furby was not American but of a Latino descent. His English was far from perfect, but certain phrasing and grammar he used was just very unique. But the strange thing was.... DF spoke the exact same way, even on his own account. The girls thought maybe it was a test... a sick and twisted test created by Furby himself. See, Furby was always so overly gung-ho about the power of friendship on Teh Stream. Yes, it is good to have friends and people you can rely on, but Furby talked about it so much, and idealized it to a point where it seemed obsessive. That if he wasn't being paid attention to by his friends for even a moment, he would do ANYTHING to gain the attention back...
Anything.
To put it simply: Furby and DF were the same person, and his family 'deaths' were all fake.
It was figured that every time Furby wasn't the center of dramatic attention, something completely devastating would happen to him. Almost a little too coincidentally. So they had a plan. But first, just to find out personally, Leggy asked Furby to join her in Mj's Stream. Mj also went with them, but under and alternate account and awaited their arrival. Furby was a little nervous around the 'unknown' user at first, but Leggy went on to ask him her question anyway. She asked him just to be honest; Was he really DF? Was it all some kind of prank? Furby insisted he wasn't, as it was expected of him to say.
The second part of the plan was where everything fell together. DF had personally emailed Leggy, taunting her about her and Rich's stolen videos, continuing to say he wanted the friendship between Teh Stream and Furby to end. So Leggy boldly told DF that she wanted to make a deal: "If you remove mine and Rich's stolen videos, I will block and remove Furby." DF was slightly taken aback, but agreed, saying "Well I will have to tell Furby about this hahaha." Leggy had made this deal knowing completely in her mind that the chances were, she was speaking to Furby himself in disguise as a 'hacker'. So of course DF would 'tell' Furby... since being the same person, Furby already in fact knew!
The true clincher was the fact when DF sent another reply email...
"You know, for a momment i thoUght about You think i was furby all the way, well you dint think about It well, caUse i'm not but Oh well, if for my fault furby are gonna lose a friend, I wAnt iT!"
Leggy nor Mj never told a single soul other then Furby that they suspected he was DF. And even aside from them, why would Furby himself tell the very person he 'hated' such type of information? The answer was there. Furby and DF were the same person. Furby, in random bursts of craving attention, created a 'hacker' to make him seem like a victim, simply to get attention from his friends. Truly a sick mind to do such unthinkable things.
Leggy and Mj were worried though, no one else even had a clue that all this was going on behind the scenes. People were still feeling sorry for Furby, still thought of him as a friend. How could they break such a touchy subject to everyone? Would anyone believe them? Mj tried to express her concerns to IAmAlbertWesker, only to be cruelly shunned by him as being a bad friend. Leggy tried to join in with Mj, but he still seemed to bear a cold shoulder. Their fears seemingly confirmed, the girls stayed quiet until yet another even happened. DF was out of the picture... but Leggy and Mj could stand it no longer. The lies... everything. Not wanting to make it a fiasco in the chatroom, they sent out bulletins, telling anyone involved in the Furby/DF situation to email them for the truth.
And so they did. The truth was revealed, and most understood in a totally reasonable way. If that wasn't proof enough though, Furby and DF's new account were suspended at exactly the same time. A user can create more then 1 account for a single email address, and when a user is suspended, it suspends ALL accounts on the email address. Leggy and Mj unveiled their very first, though extreme case of an 'Emoer'. The 'Hacker Incident' was finally over for good.
SEPTEMBER '07
As per usual, things went back to being peaceful after a long time of lies, deceit and stress. For the month of September, it was mostly good ol' times yet again. Friends narrowed down even more so, but for the greater good. Knowing who is a friend, who to trust, and who to just simply consider an acquaintance. It wasn't to be cold or mean, but the Admins had simply matured, and gotten past the fact that it can't always be a perfect and happy community. Teh Stream, as well as Leggy's notoriety grew, and that brought in more fans, more asskissers, more emoers, more haters, more of everything. Luckily by this time, the Admins had shifted private conversations to the sanctuary of MSN, but were still able to have old fashioned fun in the place where they had all met.
Another thing to look forward to that had been planned since the earliest weeks of Teh Streams birth, was the highly sought-out Teh Stream video! With everything seemingly sorted out with who was a true friend and who was otherwise, it seemed the perfect time to make... so Leggy did! She and the Admins knew there would be some slight tension though, as many people would want to be in the video, yet not all could be included. Leggy made a point of including mostly just the Admins, Mods, and 'regulars'. After it's release, it had some positive feedback... but not long after a problem arose. IAmAlbertWesker was over all displeased with how his character design turned out, and rather then face Leggy about it, he made it a huge problem by telling others in private in devious ways. This situation streamed out across both his and Leggy's chatrooms, and never quite had a settling end. But something as ungrateful as so wasn't exactly tolerable. Leggy was already beginning to regret including certain people to her video.
Aside from that fiasco, things cooled down once again.
But sadly, where there's fun, there's also people who try to destroy it. Late one odd night, Leggy, Jack and Mj decided to do a random hop into Teh Stream... only to find a group of users discussing what should have been private matters. Things like Leggy's real name, and her and Jack's relationship... in sexual terms. Outraged at the rumors that had been started, Leggy closed down Teh Stream temporarily. At this time, IAmAlbertWesker took an opportunity to advertise his chatroom for those who "Leggy closed her doors on" to quote it. Teh Stream itself was closed for about half a month, continuing into October.
OCTOBER '07
After a half a month of being Stream-stranded, Leggy felt the penalties of rumors were long paid off, and re-opened Teh Stream to the public. In addition, it was happy to be announced there was a new type of Stream being opened for those who either didn't have a YT account, had bad lag in YT Streams, or just wanted some cool extra features, like playing games online. It was dubbed 'Teh Stream 2.0' and used a free HTML chatting system. This wasn't created til the end of the month though, and little was known of the many flaws that would develop from a seemingly innocent chat engine. It was also in this month that the group met Keithrodrigues15.
NOVEMBER '07
What in the open seemed like a simple and eventless month actually had a lot of situations behind the scenes. The old 2.0 used a much different HTML server as the one seen today. The exact name is long since forgotten, but while it had many nice and interesting features, it had many flaws that were rather serious. The main being that if a certain code was typed in followed by a username, the code would reveal that users IP address. An IP address is the address of a computer, and is able to be used to track down the country, state, and city where the computer; and user; are located. Leggy was warned of this by chevingtonxbear and a friend, and took the situation to the privacy of MSN.
Ever cautious, while this matter needed to be attended to, Leggy somewhat regretted bringing the situation to MSN, as now she condemned herself and her friends to let an outsider in. Too polite to block after the matter, and somewhat fooled by supportive actions, the over all situation was tense, and had a dark, lingering feeling of blackmail about it. Trying to shrug it off, she simply closed down 2.0 in early December and went along their normal way.
DECEMBER '07
As just mentioned, Teh Stream 2.0 was closed down in early December. Most of the population tide shifted back to the regular YT Teh Stream. But, to appease to the new found fans of the 2.0 room, a new 2.0 was created via Xat.com. Technically it was a 3.0 Stream, and even has the title in the room itself, but is still to this day referred to as Teh Stream 2.0.
Thankfully around this holiday-filled time of year, things were peaceful and harmonious. Perhaps it was the holiday spirit, but around this time the Admins of Teh Stream learned to let go of petty problems with noobs, haters, asskissers etc. and no long waged in flame wars or made much a big deal out of anything of the sort. Granted there would be problems here and there down the road, but only in bigger situations. In actuality, Teh Stream Admins hardly even used Teh Stream as much as they had in the past. Perfectly content with the ties they had with one another, they didn't need a Stream to remain 'Teh Stream'... the group of friends who were honest and true.
JANUARY '08
January was just as peaceful a month as Decembers end, and so on have been the months following. The New Year, it was clearly visible how much everyone, from the Admins, to past friends, to situations and how they were handled, just how much everyone had matured. Sure, noobs, haters, etc. would always be around, but they were just handled in a less then serious way. Teh Stream had become a very easygoing place for the group of friends, and was no longer restricting by matters that they shouldn't otherwise stress over. After all... it's only the internet!
April 1st '09
The dawning of an April Fools prank set up by Leggy and Mj. The prank was that the girls have a fake fight, and claim to spread it across DeviantArt and Youtube, claiming to have no means of contact otherwise. While it was a funny event, it also had meaning. At this point in the history of Teh Stream as well as the Admins, it seemed as though people labeld Leggy and Mj in very negative ways; Things such as Leggy having become 'power hungry' and egotistical. Mj on the other hand, was branded of being a 'Leggy Follower' and only following orders as a puppet rather then a friend. This needed to stop, so the girls made an example of many foolish people, leaving many red in the face. Leggy and Mj's relationship is pure and true, and really has nothing to do with Youtube. It just happens to be a website they both enjoy logging into and talking to others. And these 'others' sure like to try and make a mess of things! Once the prank was brought onto Leggy's Teh Stream, it was the fullest it had been in a long time. The participants ate up the drama like gluttonous beasts. It was obvious then that Teh Stream had no reason to remain open to such a public. That very same day, Leggy closed Teh Stream, permanently.
Teh Stream and its concept will never fully go away. Many believe that chatroom itself was the heart of Teh Stream, but that's not what Teh Stream was ever about anyway. Teh Stream was about friendship, trust and just plain old fun. It was and is, more or less, a nickname for the group of friends who monitored it.
There have of course been incidents with those who were once Admins or Mods (as seen in Teh Stream Video/Teh Stream Loituma) that have since ended friendships as well as trust. But situations like that were overcome by the group, thus proving who was a true friend. Friendship is not about following orders from a 'leader' or being pressured by one another, it's about understanding, honesty and being loved for who you are by people who really care.

While Teh Stream's concept doesn't have the same virgin air about it as it used to; when anything that happened came as a shock or surprise; it's simply a nice, fond memory to have. The people met, the situations that arose, the challenges overcome together. Teh Stream group of friends continue to have as much fun as they did, just simply in the privacy of Instant Messaging conversations. Over time it's been realized that a thing such as friendship shouldn't have to be labeled and presented to the world,but being a little past a point of no return, this site will remain up for the curious. Teh Stream really was a great place, where many friendships were made aside from the Admin team. Looking back at the purity of that time is what it's all about. So hopefully many can take that into consideration, and newcomers can achieve friendships of their own on similar levels. It was a great run, and will always be remembered...
Teh Stream.
Known simple as Dot, he has been around Youtube, the Streams and other sites for a long while, but wasn't formally introduced to the group til much later on. Frequenting the 2.0 Stream, as well as various other Xat chatrooms, he met Keith as well as a group of many other people. The two formed a friendship over the summer, being best friends to this day. Upon Keith's reunion with his friends from Teh Stream, along side him was Dot. Little by little they all chatted among each other, but in no time a friendship was easily formed. Very easygoing and not so worried about the 'srs bsnss' of the interwebs, the down to earth attitude fit in perfectly with everyone else. Og.
Dot has a few videos, a mix of GMV's, animation. He mostly posts drawings on DeviantArt though, skilled with MSN doodling and Photoshop. He's a fan of Resident Evil and a bit strung out over 'I Wanna be The Guy', but who wouldn't be? He's also the voice of The Narrator, Hargrid, and Voldemort in the joint account reading of My Immortal.

Called Marly for short, he's been a huge fan of Teh Stream since day one. He loves Strama, gossip, updates, just about any hot topic you can think of! He started out by contacting Leggy from time to time. At first it was a simple fan/idol relationship, which in a way, still is today, but over the course of a year he turned out to be a very caring friend. Still a bit of a fanboy, but a friend none the less! Since meeting Leggy, he has also been in contact with Jack and Mj. His personality is so bubbly and the things he says keeps for constant humorous entertainment.
Marly loves drawing and animating, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts (Marluxia), the color pink, fashion designing, and keeping a positive outlook on life.
John has closed his old account, but started anew with some friends in creating the new: DiabloArmy. It even has his older videos!
Cheese had closed her account for a short while, but is re-opened for business once again!
